RiverBend Mystery Dinner Theater 2015
We appreciate your faithful support of LSU Shreveport! This year's LSUS Foundation RiverBend Mystery Dinner Theater and the LSUS Alumni Silent Auction are scheduled for Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Horseshoe Riverdome. Chancellor Larry Clark has just completed his first year at the helm, and there is reason to celebrate all he has accomplished.
The evidence will be included in your case file. Just look at the Chancellor's list of achievements in one short year! We have reviewed several suspects for the award, and decided he clearly deserves the honor of 2015 Pilot of the Year. We hope you will join our investigative team as a SPONSOR.
The Murder Mystery Company of Dallas will entertain us with a script personalized to our Shreveport-Bossier "characters." This talented company has performed for many legendary clients, including Mary Higgins Clark, the Queen of Mystery, at her 60th Birthday Party. You can expect a comedy "masked in murder" and emceed by our very own Caddo Parish Sheriff, Steve Prator, BGS 1975 and recipient of the 2015 Distinguished Alumni Award. (We know a crime will be committed, so the authorities must be on standby.)
WE NEED YOU ON THE CASE OCTOBER 8, 2015 and hope we have presented you with compelling evidence. If you have questions or need additional clues about the event, call 318-797-5257. To donate to the auction, call 318-797-5190.
With your support, we can make this a "killer" event!
RiverBend Revue 2013
The LSUS Foundation and LSUS Alumni Association had a wonderful time hosting RiverBend Revue 2013, Wednesday, April 24 at the Horseshoe Riverdome. Our own Marcia Calhoun (BGS 2000) and Edie Williams (BGS 1988) were honored in a gala entitled "On Broadway!" Both had previously received the Alumni Association's Distinguished Alumni Award.
The Silent Auction was hosted and managed by the LSUS Alumni Association. Guests were free to bid while enjoying cocktails, dinner and music. Thanks to our generous community donors and high bidders, the 2013 auction cleared more than $10,000. Since our silent auction's inception in 2008, we have raised almost $80,000 for scholarships, projects, programs or services at LSUS!
