Annual Pilots Golf Classic
The 2017 LSUS Alumni Capital One Pilots Golf Classic took place April 10 at The Golf Club at StoneBridge in Bossier City.

We appreciate the faithfulness of our core sponsors. Look for a 2018 date announcement in the near future!

The Pilots Golf Classic has been an LSUS fixture since 1999, involving alumni, faculty and staff.

To date the Pilots Classic has raised $283,000 for scholarships, programs, projects and services that benefit LSUS. To sponsor a team or to volunteer, please contact the Alumni Office at 318-797-5190 or click on "Golf Tournament."

Silent Auctions
The RiverBend Gala, the LSUS Foundation's black-tie-optional event which celebrates and benefits LSUS, is coming up Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 601 Spring in Downtown Shreveport. The Alumni Association traditionally hosts a Silent Auction. Our auction team has raised $83,000 since 2008. For more information, call the Alumni Office at 318-797-5190.

Annual Meeting Party

The Alumni Association holds one "general membership" meeting per year, the Annual Meeting, usually in May or June.

The 2017 event is scheduled for Thursday, June 1, 2017 in the LSUS University Center Ballroom.

The Distinguished Alumni Award winner and Circle of Excellence Award winners are recognized. Retiring Alumni Board Directors also receive their service awards. During the brief business meeting, we welcome Officers and Directors, listen to remarks from LSUS students or recent graduates, and enjoy dinner and door prizes. The evening offers an excellent opportunity for fellowship and networking. Dues-paying Association members receive invitations and other alumni are welcome for a per-person fee. For more information, call 318-797-5190 or email

Commencement Receptions

The Alumni Association hosts a reception for graduates, faculty and alumni before the Fall and Spring Commencement Services. Alumni Board Directors and other alumni serve as volunteers.

The Association Board of Directors meets at least three times during the year in addition to the Annual Meeting. Directors also serve on committees which meet separately to support and manage various events and projects for the University.
