The star parties begin after sunset and are held at the Ralph A. Worley Observatory.
The observatory is located about 8 miles south of the LSU-Shreveport campus, off Hwy. 1. Go south on Hwy. 1, turn onto Hwy. 175 and go about 1.7 miles. Turn onto Astronomical Observatory Rd. and go about 100 yards to the observatory.
