The SBAS 50th Anniversary Fund

The Shreveport-Bossier Astronomical Society, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Donations to the Society are tax deductible. Your donation helps to keep star parties free to the public, aids in the development of new programs, and provides equipment used at the star parties.

The Society will be beginning it's fiftieth year in operation in 2009. The Society is beginning it's Golden Year Fund raising effort in order to provide new state-of-the-art equipment to enhance the star party experience, develop new educational presentations, and help to maintain the Society's liability insurance.
