Summer TeachLSUS deadline is March 1 “TeachLSUS” is looking for you! The goal of TeachLSUS is to select and train outstanding teacher candidates for careers as professional educators in K-12 schools. TeachLSUS, designed specifically for candidates who do not have backgrounds in education, is a research-based program to give potential teachers an in-depth study of materials and methods; classroom management; psychological characteristics of children and adolescents, and effective instructional techniques. Participants of TeachLSUS may pursue certification while teaching in their own classroom and earning a salary. The summer 2007 TeachLSUS application deadline is Thursday, March 1, for committed and motivated individuals desiring to become public school teachers.
