Lady Pilots stab Spring Hill, stay on top of GCAC

The LSUS Lady Pilots soccer team split their road trip to Mobile, Ala., losing a 1-0 game to the University of Mobile Thursday and winning by the same score across town at Spring Hill College today in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference play.

The Lady Pilots (12-2, 6-1 GCAC) remained on top of the GCAC by one game over the University of Mobile (10-4, 5-2).  The only other LSUS soccer loss of the season was also a 1-0 game, that one to NCAA Division I and Southland Conference powerhouse Northwestern State University.

The Lady Pilots travel to Nacogdoches, Texas, Tuesday (Oct. 17) for a 7 p.m. contest with NCAA Division I Stephen F. Austin, then return to “The Swamp” on the LSUS campus Friday (Oct. 20) to face the University of Mobile at 2 p.m.  They wrap up their GCAC regular season with a home game at 1 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 22) against Loyola University (N.O.) and on the road against Belhaven College in Jackson, Miss. at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28.
