Swami Parthasarathy to speak twice on Vedanta The LSUS India Studies Program, the LSUS Foundation, and the Sadhu Vaswani Hindu Cultural Center will sponsor a guest lecture by Swami Parthasarathy, widely regarded as the greatest exponent of Vedanta, the ancient philosophy of India, on Wednesday, Oct 4, at 7 p.m. in the LSUS University Center Theater. His lecture, “Vedanta: Ancient Wisdom in Modern Life,” will be preceded at 6:30 p.m. by a light refreshment reception. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, is the inaugural event of the newly established LSUS Distinguished Lecture Series. Swami Parthasarathy will also deliver a lecture, “Vedanta: The Code of Living,” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct 3, at the Sadhu Vaswani Hindu Cultural Center, 6526 Jefferson Paige Road.
