Swami Parthasarathy to speak twice on Vedanta

The LSUS India Studies Program, the LSUS Foundation, and the Sadhu Vaswani Hindu Cultural Center will sponsor a guest lecture by Swami Parthasarathy, widely regarded as the greatest exponent of Vedanta, the ancient philosophy of India, on Wednesday, Oct 4, at 7 p.m. in the LSUS University Center Theater. His lecture, “Vedanta: Ancient Wisdom in Modern Life,” will be preceded at 6:30 p.m. by a light refreshment reception.
The lecture, which is free and open to the public, is the inaugural event of the newly established LSUS Distinguished Lecture Series. Details about the series are available on the LSUS Foundation Web site at www.lsus.edu/lectures.
Swami Parthasarathy will also deliver a lecture, “Vedanta: The Code of Living,” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct 3, at the Sadhu Vaswani Hindu Cultural Center, 6526 Jefferson Paige Road.
