Board of Regents to present The Louisiana Board of Regents will present checks representing matching funds for a total of nine endowed professorships in joint ceremonies Tuesday (Aug. 29) at 3 p.m. in the Jesse N. Stone Lecture Hall at the Southern University-Shreveport Main Campus on Martin Luther King Drive. State funds matching privately generated funds on a 40-60 basis will be presented for professorships at LSUS, LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport, Southern University-Shreveport and Centenary College.
