| McCotter to be LSUS Executive-in-Residence

executive Kevin McCotter will be an Executive-in-Residence in
the LSUS
College of Business Administration during the fall
2006 semester. He is also a member of the college’s business
advisory board, the Board of Visitors.
McCotter, whose 33-year career with the phone company culminated
with being head of regulatory and external affairs for north
and western Louisiana, has been named senior marketing director
and
vice president of Citizens National Bank. As
an Executive-in-Residence, McCotter will teach classes and
make his diverse management experience available to LSUS students
in
other informal ways. At Citizens National Bank, he will be actively
engaged in designing, developing and executing marketing strategies
for the bank’s continued growth and business development. “
We are excited to have Kevin as an Executive-in-Residence,” commented
Dr. Charlotte Jones, dean of the LSUS College of Business Administration. “He
brings an incredible wealth of business knowledge and experience
to our students, both in the classroom and in an advisory role.” In addition to his membership on the LSUS College of Business
Administration Board of Visitors, McCotter is active in the
community as a board
member of the Military Affairs Council and LSU Health Sciences
Center Foundation. He also serves as first vice-president of
the Sci-Port Discovery Center Board of Directors and is a member
of
the Advisory Board for the Frost School of Business at Centenary
College. Since 2000, he has served as president of Campus Facilities,
Inc., a nonprofit corporation responsible for building the new
$55 million campus for Bossier Parish Community College. He will
also serve as chairman of the 2007 Barksdale Air Show.
