| LSUS Future Lawyers to host National
Law Day program

The LSUS Chapter of the Association of Future Lawyers will host
a three-part National Law Day program on Monday, May 1, for students
and anyone in the community interested in learning about aspects
of the law and the process of becoming a lawyer. The programs are
free and open to the public.
The American Bar Association has selected “Liberty Under
Law: Separate Branches, Balanced Powers” as the theme for
this year’s observance of Nat ional Law Day. The LSUS programs
begin at 9:30 a.m. with a Law School Admissions Forum until 11:50
a.m. A Legal Careers Forum will be conducted from Noon to 1:50
p.m. and a presentation centered on the Law Day theme will run
from 2 to 3:50 p.m. More than 23 law schools have been invited to participate in
the program, as well as several legal professionals and
scholars. For
