TeachLSUS deadline extended to April 12

The TeachLSUS program at Louisiana State University in Shreveport has extended its application deadline to Wednesday (April 12) for committed, motivated individuals desiring to become public school teachers.

TeachLSUS recruits outstanding professionals interested in teaching elementary, secondary, or special education to participate in the LSUS Alternative Certification program. Members of TeachLSUS pursue certification while teaching in their own classroom and earning a salary. The program is looking for degreed professionals from a variety of careers, as well as recent college graduates, to bring their experience, knowledge and records of achievement to public schools in north Louisiana.
