Jazz Band to hold Inaugural Concert April 26 The LSUS Jazz Band will perform its Inaugural Concert Tuesday, April 26, in the LSUS University Center Theater beginning at 7 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public. The Jazz Band is made up of students who are not music majors, but wanted the experience to play jazz music. Academic scholarships are also available for Jazz Band members. Allen Swilley, who conducts the Shreveport Metropolitan Band, is the Jazz Band instructor and director. |
