LSUS Lady Pilots sign four to basketball team

LSUS Lady Pilots Head Coach Ronnie Howell has signed four players to bring the total to six for the 2004-05 season.

Priscilla Pena, a 5-foot-4-inch point guard from Rosenburg, Texas, was an All-District and All-Area selection for two years at Lamar Consolidated High School. She averaged 10.8 points and 6.1 assists her senior year.

Shanie Cardinal, from Houston, is a 5-foot-4-inch point guard who averaged 15 points and 4 assist her senior year at Cypress Falls High School. She was an All-District selection for two years, shot 38 percent from the three point arc and 86 percent from the free throw line.

Amanda Castle is a 5-foot-9-inch forward who prepped at Ellender High School in Houma. She was a three-time All-District and two-time All-Region player who averaged 11 points and 6 rebounds her senior year.

Amanda Lacaze is a 5-foot-10-inch forward transfer from East Central Community College. She prepped at Natchitoches Central High School where she was All State her senior year.
