LSUS awards 261 degrees

Louisiana State University in Shreveport awarded 261 diplomas at commencement ceremonies Wednesday (May 19).

Graduates include 216 students earning bachelor’s degrees, 44 earning master’s degrees and one student earning a Specialist in School Psychology degree.

Six students graduated summa cum laude, having earned grade-point averages of 3.9 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Another eight students earned magna cum laude, with GPAs of 3.7 to 3.89, and 22 achieved cum laude with GPAs of 3.5 to 3.69.
