‘News feature interview’ to announce new LSUS TV lab

An AEP/SWEPCO grant is funding a new broadcast lab in the LSUS Communications Department. The grant – totaling $40,000 over three years – and the equipment to be purchased with it will be discussed at 10:15 a.m. Friday, (Feb. 27), when two LSUS broadcast journalism students will “interview” AEP/SWEPCO Arkansas/Louisiana President Brian Bond on a “set” in the classroom that will house the TV studio. This unusual news conference will be in Room 363 in Bronson Hall on the LSUS campus.

LSUS Chancellor Vince Marsala; Dr. Jack Nolan, chair of the Communications Department, and Dr. Johnette McCrery, assistant professor of communications, will also be on hand to answer questions and conduct individual interviews.
