LSUS Lady Pilots lose heartbreaker to Hendrix, 50-46

The LSUS Lady Pilots traveled to Conway, Ark., Friday to take on the Hendrix College Warriors. The Lady Pilots found themselves with a two point lead with only two minutes remaining. A couple of three-point baskets made by the Warriors Kacey Sommers near the end of regulation, however, lifted Hendrix College to a 50-46 victory over LSUS.

LSUS leading scorer Renalda Stafford had a game high 17-point performance. Kaki Neck contributed with her season high 9-points by shooting 3 of 5 from behind the three-point line. It was Kacey Sommers who led the way for Hendrix College. Sommers finished with 13-points, two assists and a steal for the Warriors.

Both the LSUS men's and women's teams are in action again Saturday. They will travel to Tyler, Texas to square off against UT-Tyler.
