LSUS students to host ‘Office 2003 Event’ 11/08/03

The LSUS Student Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals will host a Microsoft Office System 2003 Event on Tuesday, Nov. 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Office 2003 Events are being held across the country to give information technology professionals an early look at new security and development features Office 2003 has to offer.

The event will provide a first-hand preview of new technologies that will keep corporate data safer, reduce down time and increase productivity. The presentation will include a live demonstration of the new security, information access and XML features of the new Microsoft Office System. Various components of Office 2003 will be reviewed, including SharePoint Server, Windows SharePoint Services, Project 2003, Project Server 2003, InfoPath, Information Rights Management, OneNote, Exchange Server 2003, Word, Excel and online services.

Door Prizes, including shirts, copies of the book, “First Look at Microsoft Office 2003,” copies of Office 2003 and an MP3 player or X-Box, will be given away to registered event attendees.
