08/28/03 Regents to present Chair, Professorship checks Wednesday (Sept. 3) at 1 p.m. on the third floor of Noel Memorial Library on the LSUS campus, Dr. E. Joseph Savoie, Louisiana commissioner of higher education, will present checks representing the Board of Regents match for endowed chairs and professorships at LSUS and LSUHSC. Dr. Vincent Marsala, chancellor of LSUS, and John McDonald, M.D., chancellor of LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport, will accept the checks and announce their institutions’ chairs and professorships. Donors will also be in attendance and will be available for interviews. Media kits will be available at the presentation.
