Distinguished Faculty Awards presented 04/22/03

Three faculty members were recognized at the Spring Faculty Council meeting and at the LSUS Foundation President's Dinner as the 2003 recipients the prestigious LSUS Foundation Distinguished Faculty Award, which includes a $2,000 stipend. Both gatherings were held today (April 22).

Receiving the award for Outstanding Research was Dr. Binshan Lin, professor in Management/Marketing. The award for Outstanding Service was accepted by Dr. Terry Harris, associate professor English. The final award was presented to Dr. Dorie LaRue, professor in English, who received the Outstanding Teaching and Research Award.
