students to be in 2002 Whos Who
11/30/01 A
dozen LSUS students have been selected as national outstanding campus leaders,
and will be included in the 2002 edition of Whos Who Among Students
In American Universities And Colleges. The
12 students, three from Bossier Parish and nine from Caddo Parish, were nominated
based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular
activities, and potential for continued success. The
students and their majors are: Amanda Joy Bell (sociology), Natalia Elvira Bracco
(political science), Carla Denise Evans (criminal justice), Margueritte Laura
Jowers-McKinley (accounting), Raechal Courtney Leone (communications/journalism),
Matthew B. Morris (English), Carmen Dawn Reed (business management and administration)
and Georgia E. Shively (elementary education), all of Shreveport; Christine M.
Bertrand (biological science), of Barksdale Air Force Base; Stacy Luttrell Randle
(business management and administration), of Elm Grove; Shanmuka Tumkur Shivashankara
(physics), of Bossier City, and Ronald Jason Gills (business management and administration),
of Greenwood. All
the students are seniors, except Morris, who is a junior. |
