LSUS to host ‘Discovery Day’ for high school students 10/21/02

High school students can learn about LSUS, tour the campus and meet faculty Saturday, Nov. 2, when LSUS hosts a Discovery Day from 3 to 6 p.m.

The university’s four academic colleges – Business Administration, Education, Liberal Arts, and Sciences – will make simultaneous presentations and give visiting students a chance to meet and talk with faculty members. Other presentation will cover the application process and the financial aid available to students.

More than 40 student organizations provide LSUS students with an active campus life. Representatives of the student organizations will also be available to talk with the high school students. Drawings for door prizes will be scattered throughout the three-hour period.
