LSUS to Host Community Forum on the Recent Terrorist Attacks 09/26/01

Shreveport, La. – LSUS will host a community forum on Thursday, September 27 to examine the recent terrorist attacks on the U.S. from a historical, political and military perspective. The forum will be held at 6:30 pm in the University Center Theater.

The forum will feature several experts including LSUS historian Dr. Mike Leggiere, who will act as moderator as well as discussing what the European viewpoint is on the terrorist attacks.

Also participating will be LSUS political scientist Dr. Jeff Sadow discussing the political aspects of the events, retired USAF Brig. Gen. Peyton Cole commenting on military aspects and LSUS professor Gary Joiner who will examine Middle East history and politics.

The forum will feature short presentations from each expert followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
