LSUS to hold annual Career Fair 09/25/02

The LSUS Career Center will hold its annual Career Fair Tuesday in the University Center. The event, which will feature at least 50 employers, will focus is on recruitment for upcoming graduates as well as providing career information to students from all classifications.

The Career Fair opens at 8:30 a.m. for employers, with LSUS students and alumni meeting with them from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The fair attracted a record number of employers last year, and more than 400 students and graduates. “We were extremely pleased with the outcome of last year’s career fair,” Career Center Director Brian Hirsch said. “The Career Fair is a great opportunity for employers to meet students face-to-face and get the message out about what they have to offer.”

Hirsch said the event helps employers strengthen and maintain their relationships with the university and its students.
