LSUS American Humanics Program to Hold a Makeshift Memorial at Caddo Parish Courthouse 09/18/01

Shreveport, La. -- The LSUS American Humanics Student Organization will host a makeshift memorial at the Caddo Parish Courthouse on Tuesday, September 18 at Noon in response to the recent national tragedy.

The makeshift memorial will be held on the Texas Street side of the Courthouse and all community members are encouraged to participate by bringing an item to memorialize those that have been lost.

The memorial is being organized by the LSUS American Humanics Program, a leadership and academic program that encourages and prepares students for involvement with non-profit and human service agencies.
