Export/Import
Seminars, intensive seminars on international trade, are
scheduled for Feb. 19-21 at the LSUS Small Business Development
Center. The seminars will be presented by the Louisiana International
Trade Center of the University of New Orleans. Cost is $60 for one
seminar or $120 for two or three seminars.
Topics to be
addressed include: import/export strategies, market research, pricing,
customs procedures, international banking, transportation and documentation.
All seminars are 3:45 to 8:15 p.m. A light supper will be served
each night.
Co-sponsors
of the seminars are U.S. Export Assistance Center in Shreveport,
International Trade Council-Red River Region, Greater Shreveport
Chamber of Commerce, Bossier Chamber of Commerce, Hibernia National
Bank, Bank One-International, World Trade Center, U.S. Postal Service
and U.S. Customs.
