Two Fine Arts Symposiums Announced

LSU Shreveport will present two fine arts symposiums Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30.
On Friday, April 29 at 1:30 p.m., the First Annual Liberal Arts Graduate Symposium will be held on the third floor of the Noel Memorial Library. This symposium will showcase graduate students' research which is conducted through the Master of Arts in Liberal Arts program at LSUS. Papers were selected through an application process and adjudicated by members of the graduate faculty on the Graduate Symposium Committee. This event is sponsored by The Noel Foundation, Inc.
On Saturday, April 30 at 1:30 p.m., the R.W. Norton Art Gallery will host the Saturday Speaker Series entitled Students Speak! This symposium will showcase undergraduate students' research and the R.W. Norton Gallery's art collection. The event will prepare undergraduate students for graduate programs, professional activities and entrance into teaching occupations. This symposium is sponsored by the R.W. Norton Art Gallery and the Fine Arts Symposium Committee at LSUS.
