The LSUS Foundation Announces New Board Members

The LSUS Foundation announces two new members to its board of directors, Linda Biernacki and Matt Locke.
Linda Biernacki opened her own firm, Fire Tech Systems, Inc. in September of 1990. Fire Tech Systems, Inc. provides a valuable service offering life safety needs through fire protection to commercial businesses as well as residential. Her involvement in fire protection extends nationally in numerous associations. Professional involvement also includes Associated General Contractors, Building Owners and Managers Association, National Association of Women in Construction, and Shreveport Bossier Executive Association. Linda is a community partner with the Cyber Innovation Center, I-49 North Coalition, North Louisiana Economic Partnership, The Committee of One Hundred, Sci-Port Discovery Center, Sheriff's Safety Town and Southfield School.
Matt Locke is the President of Locke Homes, which is a preeminent real estate development company in the Shreveport-Bossier area. A second-generation builder and a veteran of more than two decades of fine home building, Locke has led efforts to create many distinct and recognizable communities in Shreveport and Bossier City totaling over 3,500 homes combined. As a 1984 graduate of LSUS, Matt takes pride in his community roots and celebrates ways to give back. He supports the LSUS Alumni Association, is a long-standing member of the Military Affairs Council and has made countless contributions to local non-profit organizations. Matt is a former board member of the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and served as President of Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club and East Ridge Country Club.
Other members of the LSUS Foundation Board of Directors are Joe Averett, James Babin, Brian Bond, Robert Bowman, Joe Callaway, Bo Campbell, Dewey Corley, Jim Elrod, Bob Fitzgerald, George Fritze, John Good, Sam Gregorio, Bob Hamm, Bobbie Hicks, Sidney Kent, Sandra McCalla, Harry McInnis, Steve Prator, Phillip Rozeman, Bruce Simon, Harold Turner, Edie Williams, Mike Woods and Steve Yancey. Directors Emeritus are Peggy Kinsey and George Khoury.
