Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover to Address

Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover will speak to LSU Shreveport students Friday, February 18, 2011 at 11 a.m. in honor of Black History Month.

Chancellor Vincent J. Marsala will introduce the mayor. Mayor Glover will speak about various topics and the importance of Black History Month.

After his address there will be a "Meet Your Mayor" event. Refreshments will be served while attendants have an opportunity to speak with the mayor. The address is free and open to the public.

The event will be held in the University Center Theater.
