Phi Mu hosts annual Hoop-A-Palooza to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network

February 17, 2017

Phi Mu hosted its annual Hoop-A-Palooza at The Dock during the men’s basketball game against LSUAlexandria. This event raises money in support of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH).

During Hoop-A-Palooza, attendees were able to enjoy the basketball game, participate in a free throw contest, and get creative at the art table. In addition to the fun, attendees showed joy in being able to hear two children speak about their experience with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

“Hoop-A-Palooza is our time to come out during the Pilots game, and we just raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,” Jordan Phillips, Phi Mu Philanthropy Chair, said. This gives the Phi Mu’s an opportunity to support an amazing charity and show their school spirit at the same time.

The sorority took pride in raising $1,461. In case you missed the event, you can look forward to attending next spring. Being a pilot never looked so good!
