NPR Personality and World Traveler to Present Talk
NPR commentator Brian O’Nuanain will give a free public presentation in the Noel Library at LSUS on Wednesday, March 12, at 11:00 am as part of the Distinguished Speaker series co-sponsored by the LSUS Humanities/Social Science Honors Program and the LSUS English Club.
O’Nuanain shares his views on popular culture with Red River Radio listeners every Thursday morning at 7:35. Some recent topics have included commentary about bilingual education, traffic circles and right turn on red laws, and advice on talking to women. The Red River Radio website describes his observations as “wry.”
Born in Cork, Ireland, he grew up in a family of nine. Family holidays were spent nearby and he later lived in Zimbabwe, France, England, and the Middle East. He now lives in Bossier City where he owns a company specializing in European tours for Americans called Across The Pond and Beyond Tours.
