While Bassmaster Classic finalists are duking it out on the last day of competition, Sunday, February 26 is also the date that LSU Shreveport will compete in the College Classic bass tournament on Cross Lake in Shreveport, La.

LSU Shreveport to be Featured on C-SPAN Programs
During the week of February 6-10, 2012, C-SPAN producers will visit various literary and historic sites interviewing local historians, authors and civic leaders for upcoming programming featuring Shreveport’s history and literary life. Several LSU Shreveport professors and campus landmarks will be feature.

LSU Shreveport School Psychology Program Receives Seven Year Accreditation
The program director, Dr. Kevin Jones, was informed in January that the program received full approval by the National Association of School Psychologists for the next seven years, passing national standards on 92% of quality indicators
