LSUS ATHLETICS RECEIVES ONLINE MAKEOVER

Shreveport, LA— The same great athletics program has a new and improved online presence.  LSU Shreveport Athletics
Director Chad McDowell announced today the launch of an online makeover for the entire athletics department.  Your favorite Pilots athletic teams can now be reached on the new web site, www.lsusathletics.com, as well as through the new LSUS Athletics app. 

“We are extremely excited and pleased with the features of our new site,” said McDowell.  “This is just one of the ways we are working to meet the needs of our fan base so that they have convenient access to all of the latest information available surrounding LSUS Athletic teams.”  Fans can now sign up to receive e-mail and text message alerts with the new site,  so there is no better way to keep up with LSUS Athletics!

The official app of LSU Shreveport Athletics is now available for download for the iPhone/iPad in the app store now, and the Android version will be available in late January.  With this app, you can enjoy the latest headlines including game recaps, upcoming events and much more. The scoreboard feature puts the latest results at your finger tip and one-touch access to live event feed with official statistics.  You can also listen to the LSUS audio baseball broadcast, and so much more!

LSUS is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), competing in their fourth stint as a member of the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Pilots formerly competed in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) from 2003-2010. Men's sports include baseball, basketball and cross country; while women's sports include basketball, cross country and tennis. The LSUS Athletic program has produced many championship teams collecting a total of eight regular season conference titles, 14 conference tournament championships and competed in 25 NAIA National Tournaments.
