LSU Shreveport to Host KSLA News “12 for Babies: Run Before the Walk”

LSU Shreveport will host a three mile run for KSLA News "12 for Babies: Run Before the Walk" to raise awareness for the March of Dimes on Wednesday, April 13 at 9 a.m.

KSLA News 12 anchors, Pat Simon and Domonique Benn, are running 12 miles each week leading up to the March for Babies event. Both anchors have secured pledges and donations for each mile they run. Their goal is 200 miles. Both LSUS' men's and women's soccer teams will be running with the KSLA news anchors. Students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends are encouraged to attend the event and cheer on the runners. Runners and spectators should come to the Circle of Excellence on campus by 8:30 a.m.

March for Babies, which benefits the March of Dimes, will be May 14, 2011 at 8 a.m. at the Loyola Athletic Complex.
