LSU Shreveport to Host 2010 Economic Outlook Conference

The Center for Business and Economic Research at LSU Shreveport will host the 2010 Economic Outlook Conference on Thursday, December 2, 2010, at the LSUS University Center. The conference begins at 7:30 a.m. with a networking breakfast.

"The speakers at this Economic Outlook Conference will shed light on the current state of the economy and provide insight to equip individuals and businesses to make informed decisions," said Becky Berry Director of the Center for Business and Economic Research. "They will answer questions like, 'What does the current state of the economy mean to individuals and businesses?'"

The conference will feature presentations on the national, regional and local economies. The featured speaker is Jessica Renier, Senior Economic Analyst and Coordinator of Economic and Financial Analysis with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Faculty members of LSUS School of Business and a presentation from the Red River Watershed Management Institute are also on the agenda.
