February 05, 2013

Shreveport, LA - To share the progress of the LSU Shreveport Commitment Plan with the Shreveport-Bossier City community, LSU Shreveport will hold an open house on Thursday, Feb. 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the third floor of the Noel Memorial Library. Representatives from both LSU and LSU Shreveport will be on hand to answer questions, and information will be available on all degree programs included in the joint commitment plan.

Dr. Paul Sisson, Interim Chancellor of LSUS, will discuss the Commitment Plan and then Dr. Gil Reeve, Vice-Provost for Academic Affairs at LSU, will speak briefly about the program options that we are offering in collaboration with LSU. Attendees from the community will be encouraged to meet with LSU Shreveport and LSU program leaders to discuss the specific programs options. Each program will have a separate table with program descriptions to hand out to attendees.  The five programs that will be featured include Petroleum Engineering, Sports Administration, Construction Management, International Studies and Human Resource Education.  Light refreshments will be served.
