LSU Shreveport Students Inducted to Sigma Iota Epsilon
May 09, 2011The LSU Shreveport's Epsilon Xi Chapter of Sigma Iota Epsilon (SIE) inducted eight new members on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. The new members are Michael Deon Behrman, Kathryn Bluck, Kristina Chadwick, Aditya Darsi, Nathaniel Grimes, James B. Harville, Felicia Jackson, and Ryan Thomas.
Undergraduate students must have a minimum of a 3.25 GPA, completed a junior level management class and be majoring in management. Students in the Master of Business Administration program must have completed at least nine hours of graduate level management classes and have a minimum GPA of 3.50.
Sigma Iota Epsilon is the only national business honor society dedicated exclusively to the management discipline and management profession. The mission of SIE is twofold: to encourage and recognize scholastic excellence and to promote cooperation between the academic and practitioner aspects of management. Election to membership in SIE is one of the highest scholastic honors that a student pursuing a career in management can receive.
