LSU Shreveport Student to Open Solo Exhibition

Amanda Figlio, an LSU Shreveport December 2010 graduate, will open her first solo exhibition of art work January 8, 2011 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Karpeles Manuscript Museum on Centenary Boulevard.
Figlio's exhibition is titled "There Once Was," featuring her paintings of mixed media painting materials. Figlio is a graduate of the fine arts program at LSUS. Her art work was recently featured in the major motion picture "Shark Night 3D," which was being filmed locally in Shreveport, La.
The exhibition is free and open to the public.
