LSU Shreveport Professor to Present at Two European Conferences

LSU Shreveport faculty member Emre Celebi, Ph.D. will attend and present at two international conferences this month.


Dr. Celebi will first attend the prestigious 2011 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP 2011), September 11 - 14, 2011 in Brussels, Belgium. Dr. Celebi will present a paper on color clustering at the conference.

Dr. Celebi will then attend the 16th International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing (ICIAP) September 14-16, 2011 in Ravenna, Italy. He will chair a special session on Low-Level Color Image Processing at the conference.

Dr. Celebi is an associate professor of computer science at LSUS. He joined the faculty in 2007.
