LSU Shreveport Professor Appointed to Board of Editors

Chris Coombs at LSUSDr. Christopher K. Coombs, assistant professor of economics and finance at LSU Shreveport, has been appointed to the Board of Editors for "International Advances in Economic Research" (IAER).


This quarterly publication provides economists, financial specialists and scholars in related disciplines with opportunities to share their insights with worldwide colleagues. IAER emphasizes the need for freedom of opportunity to research and discusses global economic issues that impact the lives of citizens in all countries.

Coombs teaches in the Master of Business Administration and the Master of Health Administration programs. His research interests include labor economics, health economics, and applied microeconomics. Additionally, he is the Book Review Editor for "The Journal of Labor Research" and serves on the Board of Editors for "The Journal of Regional Analysis and Policy," "The Journal of Economics and Finance Education," and "The Open Economics Journal."
