LSU Shreveport India Studies Program and India Association of Shreveport-Bossier Present Bollywood Film Festival

The India Studies Program at LSU Shreveport partners with the India Association of Shreveport-Bossier and Willis-Knighton to present the Louisiana Bollywood Film Festival at the Robinson Film Center January 13-15, 2012. An opening reception will be held Friday, January 13, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. featuring an Indian clothing fashion show and Indian food catered by Abby Singer's Bistro. Tickets for the reception are $20.

The film festival will include five films, with English subtitles, shown daily. A festival pass, which includes the reception, is $35.

Schedule is as follows:

Friday, January 13:
3 p.m. - "Love Aaj Kal"
6 p.m. - "Karthik Calling Karthik"
9 p.m.- "Cheeni Kum"

Saturday, January 14:
Noon - "The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey"
3 p.m. - "Sarkar Raj"
5:45 p.m. - "Love Aaj Kal"
8:30 p.m. - "Karthik Calling Karthik"

Sunday, January 15:
1 p.m. - "Cheeni Kum"
3:30 p.m. - "The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey"
6:30 p.m. - "Sarkar Raj"
