LSU Shreveport Honor Society to Host 5K Run-Walk

The Alpha Epsilon Delta honor society at LSU Shreveport will host the Winter Sun Run 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 8:30 a.m.

The Winter Sun Run will take place at the Health and Physical Education building on the LSUS campus. Early Registration will be $15 and ends Friday, November 26. Late registration will be $20 and continue until Wednesday, December 1. Race day registration will be held from 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.

The Winter Sun Run is sponsored by Alpha Epsilon Delta, the health pre-professional honor society at LSUS. The proceeds from this benefit will be given to the Pool of Siloam Medical Clinic. The Pool of Siloam is Alpha Epsilon Delta's primary philanthropy and operates solely on donations to meet the health needs of the uninsured and medically underserved residents of our community.
