LSU Shreveport AVE Program to Host Behind-the-Scenes of “The Expendables”

The Animation and Visual Effects program at LSU Shreveport will host an in-depth look at the visual effects behind the 2010 film "The Expendables" on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the University Center Theater.

Scott Coulter, executive producer for Worldwide FX, and Wes Caefer, visual effects supervisor, for "The Expendables" will be on hand to give a presentation on the visual effects work involved in the making of the film.

Worldwide FX had its beginnings in Sofia, Bulgaria; and has since expanded to include a studio in Shreveport, La., where many of the effects for "The Expendables" were created.
