LSU Shreveport Adjunct Faculty Member and Willis-Knighton Internist Wins Award

LSU Shreveport adjunct faculty member and Willis-Knighton Health System internist Dr. S. Germain Cassiere was honored with the 2010 Spirit of Excellence Award.

Dr. Cassiere is an adjunct professor for the James K. Elrod Department of Health Administration at LSU Shreveport. He was honored because of his distinguished track record of teaching excellence, departmental service, and student mentoring. Dr. Cassiere has served as an adjunct instructor for two years and teaches in the areas of healthcare systems and healthcare informatics.

The award is given annually to an individual who has made significant contributions to the Elrod Department and its students.
