Artists from the Piatigorsky Foundation to Play Concert at LSU Shreveport

The Piatigorsky Foundation will host harpist Heidi Krutzen and cellist Ariel Barnes, on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the assembly room on the 3rd floor of the Noel Library at LSU Shreveport. The concert is free and open to the public.
Krutzen is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and is on the faculty at the University of British Columbia and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. She is a founding member of Vancouver's Turning Point Ensemble and serves as the principal harpist of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra and the National Broadcast Orchestra.
Barnes is an internationally acclaimed cellist and enjoys a diverse career as a soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician. In addition to serving as principal cellist of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra and a member of The Turning Point Ensemble, he is on the faculty at the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific and is a member of Trio Accord.
