adds 19 to faculty in 4 colleges
LSUS’
19 new full-time faculty members bring with them degrees
and experiences from throughout the U.S. and two other
countries to departments in all four colleges.
Three
have joined the College of Education: Diane Knight,
an associate professor in education, Ph.D., Northwestern
State University; Ruth Ray, an assistant professor in
education, Ph.D., Colorado State University, and Essie
Holt, instructor in psychology, Ph.D., University of
Tennessee.
Six
are in the College of Liberal Arts: Ronald Sereg, assistant
professor in communications, M.A., University of Central
Missouri; Robert Alford, assistant professor in communications,
M.A., Yale; Diane Boyd, assistant professor in English,
M.A., Florida State University; Sharon Green, instructor
in criminal justice, M.S., University of Texas-Tyler;
Blake Dunnavent, assistant professor in history, Ph.D.,
Texas Tech, and LaWanda Blakeney, assistant professor
fine arts (music), Ph.D., University of Texas-Austin.
Seven
are joining the College of Business Administration:
Tim Shaughnessy, assistant professor in economics, doctoral
candidate, Florida State University; Ken Masters, associate
professor in management, Ph.D., University of North
Texas; Sanjay Menon, assistant professor in management,
Ph.D., McGill University, Montreal, Canada; Stan Hays,
assistant professor in accounting, D.B.A., Louisiana
Tech University; Chuo-Hsuan (Jason) Lee, assistant professor
in accounting, doctoral candidate, Kent State University;
Bruce Wampler, associate professor in accounting, D.B.A.,
Louisiana Tech University, and Wolfgang Hinck, assistant
professor in marketing, doctoral candidate, University
of Texas Pan American.
Three
have joined the College of Sciences: Marjan Trutschl,
assistant professor in computer science, Sc.D., University
of Massachusetts; Sudhir Malik, visiting associate professor
in physics, Ph.D., University of Delhi, Delhi, India,
and Wanda Moseley, instructor in mathematics, M.Ed,
LSUS.
Lee and Wampler will join the LSUS faculty in January.
The others were on campus in August for the beginning
of the fall semester.
