Students selected as Ambassadors, SOAR leaders
Students relate best with other students, and LSUS puts that theory into practice in its Ambassador and SOAR recruiting and orientation programs.

Four students serve as Ambassadors, visiting high schools with recruiters and taking prospective students on tours of the campus.

This year's Ambassadors include freshmen Tina Marks, of Minden; Erin Franks, of Deville, Katie Durbin, of West Monroe, and senior Rachel Holmes, of Shreveport. This is Holmes' second year as an Ambassador, the others are new to the program.

Another group of outstanding students have been selected to serve as student leaders for the freshman Student Orientation And Registration (SOAR) program. They are: Amber Rollins, Andranell Watley, Candace Williamson, Devan Bailey, Haley Reggio, Josh Neeson, Melisa Springfield, Tiffany Johnson and Patrina Williamson.
