Anonymous student names scholarship for Burke
Dr. Lisa Burke, assistant professor of management, was "honored, to say the least," to learn a former student, who wishes to remain anonymous, has established a scholarship in her name with the national Society for Human Resource Management Foundation.

The student describes Burke as "an energetic and enthusiastic human resources professor (who) reactivated the LSUS SHRM student chapter and currently serves as its chapter advisor. Through her enthusiasm and dedication, she inspires a love of learning in others."

The Lisa A. Burke Scholarship is available to students nationwide who meet the criteria. For more information, contact Student Programs at SHRM by phone 703-535-6084, fax 703-739-0399, mail 1800 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA 22314-3499 or SHRMStudent@shrm.org.
