Dr. Lacy and Edie Williams Circle of Excellence Plaza

A photorealistic rendering accurately portrays the magnitude of the brick plaza to be constructed beginning next spring and dedicated next fall as a highlight of the LSUS 40th Anniversary celebration. This signature landmark on campus is the centerpiece of the 2006-07 Annual Campaign, which is spearheaded by the LSUS Alumni Association. Conceptualized and designed by Will Loe, a landscape architect with Somdal Associates of Shreveport, the plaza’s construction will be underwritten by Dr. Lacy and Edie Williams, thus allowing all other participation to be used to support scholarships and other university programs. Bricks in the plaza may be purchased as a lasting legacy on the campus. Sponsorship of gateway cornerstones, benches and gardens are also available to LSUS supporters.
