First Alumni Directory set for distribution next fall

Have you ever wondered about a classmate and how you could reconnect after many years have passed and you’ve gone your separate ways? Beginning in 2007, you’ll be able to!

As part of LSUS’ 40th Anniversary, the Alumni Association and Harris Connect, Inc., have teamed up to produce the First Edition of the LSUS Alumni Directory. Alumni who graduate through December 2006 will receive information or phone calls about the directory. Alumni who graduate after December 2006 will be included in later editions.

Both hardbound and softbound versions of the 6” x 9” directory, as well as a CD-ROM option, will be available for purchase. In the biographical section, alumni who have a mailing address may choose to include a current name and cross-reference by name as student; class year(s) and degree(s); up to two degrees earned from other institutions and those institution names; current job title, employer name, address and telephone number; residence address and telephone number; first names of spouse and children, and one preferred e-mail address. Completed directories will be delivered in fall 2007.

Additional sections will be organized by class year, geographical location and career networking. The class year section will list alumni alphabetically with a state code under the primary class year heading. The geographical section will include state headings, city subheadings and country headings (if outside the U.S.). Alumni may also be listed alphabetically under one of up to 80 career headings provided by Harris.
