Sciences Faculty Awards

The LSUS Foundation provides each of the four academic colleges $3,000 annually to support faculty awards. Dr. Paul Sisson (left), dean of the College of Sciences, stands with the recipients of Faculty Awards sponsored by the LSUS Foundation. With Sisson are (from left) Dr. Carlos Spaht, professor of mathematics and holder of the AEP SWEPCO LaPREP Professorship, Teaching Award; Dr. Dalton Gossett, professor of biology, Service Award; Dr. Brian Salvatore, associate professor of chemistry, Scholarship Award, and Harold Meekins, an adjunct instructor of physics. Also honored for their long and distinguished service as adjunct instructors were Claiborne Sharp, computer science, and Charles Thomas, mathematics.
